Loss of a Legend: Paul Newman

Sadness. Legendary actor, humanitarian and cat daddy, Paul Newman, lost his battle with cancer over the weekend at age 83. I'm devastated. Somewhere between "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof," Newman's Own salad dressings and lemonade, and his devotion to liberal politics, I fell madly, deeply in love with Mr. Newman.

RIP Katoucha

The body of former top model, Guinean beauty Katoucha Niane, was found this month in the River Seine. The mother of three had been missing from her Paris houseboat since January. A one time muse of couture giant Yves Saint Laurent, Katoucha was one of the first African models to achieve international success in the fashion world.
