Vanessa Paradis for Miu Miu

I'm convinced that French women do everything better. This includes snagging a hot, rich playboy (aka Johnny Depp), taming him and having a bunch of his babies. Gotta love Madame Vanessa for that. And these pics! They had me at Miu Miu. And they smartly kept her teeth (yeah, it's a problem) out of sight (for the most part). Enjoy!

P.S. These glasses almost make me want to change my contact-wearing ways for good! I'm so over my contacts. Thank goodness for Lenshopper.com, a comparison site for contacts which makes my life a little easier. That is until I get LASIK.

Fab Look of the Day

Vanessa Paradis has always intrigued me, probably because I know absolutely nothing about her. Even after managing to snag super hot A-lister Johnny Depp, she is content with playing the background and living a quiet life in France with him and the kids. There's something so absolutely fab about that. So here she is at a tree lighting ceremony in the City of Lights on Monday. This look definitely says "Christmas in Paris." I love her soft fingerwaves, red lipstick and yes, I especially love the belted tweed coat with the bracelet sleeves. (I wonder if it's Chanel?) There's something about French fashion that is so attention-grabbingly chic but at the same time, sensible and understated. Oui oui!

The best part about these pics? She kept her mouth closed. In true European fashion, homegirl suffers from a slight to moderate case of yuckmouth.
