Two Things That Make Me Super Happy...

Chambord Lemonade

...are cocktails and fashion! Put them together and I'm in heaven, darling. I've been all up and through the tents this Fashion Week (pictures are coming I promise!) and besides the fashion, the faces and the fun, the one constant has been a Chambord
cocktail in hand! As the Official Liqueur of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, the Chambord has been flowing like water, honey, and mother is thirsty!

If you couldn't make it to NYC for the shenanigans, why not enjoy a lil Chambord cocktail in the comfort of your home? Three of my faves are the timeless French Martini, the seriously chic Velvet Elvis, and the eye-catching Chambord Lemonade.

Chambord® French Martini

1½ oz vodka

½ oz Chambord

3 oz pineapple juice

Shake ingredients with ice and strain into a martini glass.

Garnish with a lemon twist.

Chambord® Velvet Elvis

2 oz Jack Daniel’s® Tennessee Whiskey

1 oz Chambord

2 oz sweet and sour

Shake ingredients with ice and strain into a martini glass. Garnish with a lemon twist.

Chambord® Lemonade

1 ½ oz vodka

½ oz Chambord

3 oz sugar free lemonade

Shake ingredients, pour over ice.

Garnish with fresh berries or a lemon.

Do try these at home!

I'll take Daniel Craig on the rocks

But if I can't have him, I'll settle for a signature 007 cocktail! Why not? Casino Royale had a huge debut this past weekend/Thanksgiving is one week away/Beyonce is Sasha Fierce/it's Thursday/we're breathing, so let's celebrate! Lucky for us, Time Magazine has compiled a list of James Bond's favorite drinks...which is totally speaking to my inner alchie. Who knew Mr. Bond is not all about a shaken vodka martini? I think it's only right that I go the extra mile and do the necessary research to determine which cocktail on this list is truly fit for a Bond Girl. Done and done. Try one (or all) for yourself!

Vesper Martini (Casino Royale)
Three ounces of Gordon's gin, one ounce of vodka, half-ounce of Lillet Blanc. Shake over ice and add a slim slice of lemon peel.

Mojito (Die Another Day)
Three sprigs of fresh mint, two tablespoons of sugar, three tablespoons of fresh lime juice, 1.5-ounces of light rum and club soda.

Rum Collins (Thunderball)
Two ounces light rum, a juiced lime, a tablespoon of powdered sugar, carbonated water, a sliced lemon and a cherry.

Mint Julep (Goldfinger)
Four fresh sprigs of mint, 2.5-ounces of bourbon whiskey, one tablespoon of powdered sugar and two tablespoons of water. As Bond says in the film: Sour mash, but not too sweet, please.

Gluhwein (For Your Eyes Only)
The Swedish form of mulled wine, made with a mixture of spices and served warm.

Spicy Bloody Mary (Never Say Never Again)
As ordered by Bond's romantic interest: Double Bloody Mary with plenty of Worcestershire sauce. 1.5-ounces of vodka, three ounces of tomato juice, one dash of lemon juice, a half teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce, two to three drops of Tabasco sauce, and one lime wedge.

Elle's Quick Cosmo

File this under "Things I Learned On Vacay." I discovered the quickest, easiest cocktail recipe using ingredients you may already have in your fridge.

Elle's Quick Cosmo
1 part wakka aka vodka (Grey Goose, Svedka or Pearl are my faves)
1 part cranberry juice
1 part lemonade

Super simple, right? But sooo good and a great way to impress guests. Serve with caution, though, lest you end up with guests on your couch for the night!
