Fashion designers have always been inspired by what they see on the street. By paying attention to what the cool, stylish kids are wearing now, you can forecast what the trends will be next year and even beyond. Street style blogs from New York to Paris to Milan to Copenhagen document the fashion-forward, who's looks range from outrageous and anti-establishment to charming and Victorian. Street style is infinitely inspirational not only because it's an indication of what real people are wearing, but also because it always challenges me to think creatively about fashion and to dress beyond what is my "norm." That is really what style is all about.
