Forever 21 Launches a Plus-Size Line!

Hell to the yes! On May 1st, Forever 21 is (finally) launching Faith 21, its first ever plus-size collection! This means that I can now shop for more than just accessories in the trendy, cheap and chic bastion of teen fashion. Faith 21 will have sizes ranging from XL-2X and will range in price from $3.50 to $34.80.

Much like the Forever 21's main collection for petite and skinny minis, Faith 21 will feature of-the-moment pieces including sheer peasant blouses, denim leggings and mini dresses like the flirty floral above.

Heidi Canalizo, a regional manager at Forever 21, confirmed the collection was a no-brainer. "In the past we've had XL sizes and we would sell out of them so quickly," she said. "Our customers have been asking for this for so long and in the past few years we've really decided it's time to get into it. Not everyone is a size 2."

Ready for your own piece of Faith? Head on over to Forever21.com and get free standard shipping on orders of $75 or more! If you're in Southern California, you can actually shop the line in-store beginning May 1 at Lakewood Center Mall, Montebello Town Center, Los Cerritos Mall, and Anaheim Plaza.

In other news, this Spring will also see the launch of Target's plus-size line for juniors. Target's Pure Energy line will go up to a size 30 and feature skinny jeans, maxi dresses and sleeveless party tops. From the looks of it, I'm not in love, but hopefully more and better looks will be found in store. Give it a whirl!

First Look: Thakoon for Target

If you're spending the winter holidays on vacay in a sunny destination, save room in your luggage for the Thakoon line for Target. Arriving on Christmas Day and retailing for $20 to $70, the first looks to have surfaced are super summery and have a definite resort feel. I love the use of ethnic prints and graphic stripes...these pieces have me dreaming of hazy summer days!

Designer Thakoon Panichgul told WWD, "[Target was] very easy to work with. They wanted a lot of prints, and I chose silhouettes that have done well in the past."

What's better than fab fashion for Christmas?

Breaking: Botkier for Target!

Oh snap! This news has really made my week! Botkier makes some of the most lusciously structured bags, simply perfect to go from work to cocktails in a jif. Last year, every fashion saavy It Girl in NYC simply had to have one in her rotation. Now, Target is collaborating with Monica Botkier for thier fifth limited edition designer accessories collection! YES! (fist pump)

The new collection will be available at select Target stores nationwide and at http://www.target.com/ from July 21 through September 14, 2008. Please, do yourself a favor and mark your Crackberrys accordingly. Elle wouldn't steer you wrong.

In other designer collabo news, Norma Kamali has been tapped to partner with Walmart for an ongoing collection beginning in Fall 2008. Now I love me some Norma, but I suffer from a mental block when it comes to buying clothes from Walmart. Just don't see it happening. But this may be just the thing to steer some customers over from Target looking for designer at a discount.

Jovovich-Hawk for Target

Here's your first look at the newest Go International designer collection for Target, Jovovich-Hawk. Set to hit stores and the internets March 2nd, Milla Jovovich and Carmen Hawk's collection is boho-chic and deliciously vintage looking.

Milla says: “Our Target line will have all our classic pieces: smock dresses, tunics, minis, all vintage-inspired, great prints. We took the things that sold the best for us but we’re doing it on a bigger scale. To be able to do it with a big company that can afford to do it for a good price so that real girls can afford it. That’s the reason we were interested.”

The collection's not for everyone, but I'm quite sure all my L.A. beach beauties and Sienna Miller-esque British bombshells will definitely have an appreciation for these easy breezy pieces.

Loeffler Randall for Target

Gold Linen Clutch - $19.99
adfasdf

Budget-nista alert! The latest greatest designer accessories collection, Loeffler Randall, has hit your local Target. The brainchild of husband and wife team, Jessie Loeffler Randall and Brian Murphy, Loeffler Randall began as a luxury shoe line and has most recently branched out to RTW*. Well, now the designer duo has collaborated with Target to bring you a modern assortment of bags and shoes, any of which would be a nice addition to your Spring wardrobe. (Doesn't the rosette on the clutch above just scream Spring?) After all ladies, trendy accessories are the absolute best thing to buy on the cheap. If you wear it for one season, you've gotten your money's worth!

For this roomy satchel, the beauty is in the details. Shine, weaving and braiding add up to one fabulous piece!

Understatedly chic, this cream clutch is a perfectly demure accessory for that Spring garden party.

Chain Handle Clutch in Rose Gold - $24.99

Featured in December's InStyle, this retro clutch is in the freshest color of the metallic family, Rose Gold. So over the metallic craze? It comes in a deep brown as well.

Cinch Flats in Brown Patent - $29.99

Although these shoes are looking slightly orthopedic to me, my spies tell me that they are much more attractive in person. A peep-toe flat is one of my favorite types of shoes for work, so I'm willing to give them a go.

Rosette Ballet Flats - $29.99

Ballerina flats are becoming required footwear for those who like a little comfort with their fabulosity. Perfect for air travel to distant lands, traipsing through the city or chasing after little ones, these feminine flats will take you places!
