NY Fashion Week: Day 1

Marchesa Spring 2008 Ready to Wear

For your viewing pleasure, some highlights from
New York Fashion Week, September 5, 2007

Rachel Roy showed a confident collection featuring showstopping metallics and pieces inspired by trips to MoMA.

Nicole Miller was a harmonious collection of form-fitting, lady-like silhouettes that are an antidote to the billowy, blousson dresses of this past summer. No one does prints like her!

Gwen Stefani's LAMB collection stayed true to its rasta meets Victorian roots and featured a ton of plaids, houndstooth, knee high stockings and booties.

The duo that is Marchesa impressed with a collection that combined Indian influences with English sensibility.

Creative color blocking and modern neck lines gave the Abaete collection a Miami deco vibe that is sure to fly off the racks.
