It's no wonder that the color red is hotter than ever, it's classic, sexy and sweetly sophisticated.
Jessica's Alba's hemline, on the other hand, which I was horrified to notice on more than one dress at the show, is none of the above.
I don't, and if you are anything but a tall, leggy model-type, I would seriously advise against you adopting this trend. However, on the right body, short shorts are a perfectly fun trend to try this summer. Paired with a slouchy tank, it's L.A. inspired dressing at its best.
Tunics and then More Tunics
Tunic-style dressing is here to stay. Whether worn alone, with jeans or with leggings, tunics and oversized t-shirts will carry you through Fall with ease.
Best Dressed: Rihanna
From the fierce jet-black bob to the sweeping lines of her gown, Rihanna was a breath of fresh air on the red carpet. Yup, she can stand under my umbrella, ella, ella...yeah you know where that's going.
Worst Dressed: Victoria Beckham
Your girl Elle is all about an animal print, but somewhere between the pink bra, washed out hair and hooker pose, Vicki went tragically wrong. Better luck next time!
So ladies, let's take these red-carpet do's to the streets! And leave the don'ts at home.
Until next time, be fab!
