It's Baaaaack! Project Runway Premieres Tonight!

Pour the pinot, pop the corn, pass the dutchie and prepare yourself for another magically delicious season of designer drama as Project Runway (woo!) debuts on its new channel, Lifetime, tonight at 10 pm!
-
The lost Season 6 will finally air after 8 months of legal shenanigans, and I haven't been this excited for television since RuPaul's Drag Race and its glittery gays were swirling around on Logo. (Puhleeze tell me that Season Two is in production!)

But I digress. This is about PR! All of our favorites judges are back, including Heidi, Tim, Michael and Nina (yes, we are on a first name basis). And speaking of favorites, as if the PR premiere weren't enough, Lifetime is airing a special All Star Challenge tonight at 8 pm, featuring eight past PR finalists competing for $100,000!

I'm practically schvitzing with anticipation! Where the H are my blotting papers when I need them?

Prepping for Project Runway Season 6...and 7!

If an entire season of Project Runway, including the always climactic runway show at Bryant Park, has been filmed, and a winner crowned, but none of it has ever actually aired, does that season actually exist? Surprisingly, the answer is yes, since after all the legal shenanigans, PR fans will finally get their Season 6 fix beginning this summer on Lifetime. The jury is still out as to whether the fashion designer face-off will remain true to its Bravo roots, but I for one am still waiting breathlessly in anticipation for Heidi, Tim and the ever colorful contestants.

Think you have what it takes to impress the judges on Season 7? Designer hopefuls should check out www.bunim-murray.com/prcasting. Season 7 casting is happening as we speak! Good luck, buttercups!

Heidi Klum Football Photoshoot

I don’t know if this is a recent Heidi Klum shoot, but I don’t mind. I may as well come right out and say that I despise football. These pics make the mere thought of it bearable.

Red Carpet Roundup: US' Hot Hollywood Bash

US Weekly hosted their annual Hot Hollywood fete and the stars hit the eggplant-colored carpet in style. Short, flirty dresses were definitely the theme of the night. Style Icon of The Year, Heidi Klum, looked simply fab in her purple mini dress by Project Runway runner up, Rami Kashou.

Adrienne Bailon gets high marks for this nude metallic dress, also by Rami Kashou, and sparkly blue sandals. I looove this look from head to toe.

Lauren Conrad chose an aqua Catherine Malandrino dress with large paillettes and Christian Louboutin heels. Blah. As the "Celebrity Designer of the Year," wouldn't it have made sense to wear one of her own designs?

Now this Catherine Malandrino dress is sooo much better. Jordana Brewster looks super sweet in this black and white dress with the most darling embroidered concentric circle details.

I love the super feminine draping and gorgeous ruffles on Lindsay Price's creamy champagne confection. Next time though, she should remember to carry blotting papers.

Cutie Christina Milian looked a tad tanorexic in her Louis Vuitton cocktail dress, but I like how she accessorized with a gold cuff, matching metallic bag and T-strap heels.

My favorite mess, Aubrey O'Day picked an Alice + Olivia mini dress with rosettes. Not a fan.

Sanaa can do no wrong in my book. Here she is in a trendy tiered dress and cream heels.

Lo looks oh so appropriate for a Hot Hollywood party and is showing just enough skin in this sheer navy frock.

Eve shined in her bright celery Jay Godfrey dress, I just wish she would have zipped the zipper. I'm so over her cleavage tats.

Poor, poor Rumer Willis. Despite her fabulously form fitting Herve Leger bandage dress, she puts the butt in butterface.

The Oscars Very Red Carpet

Katherine Heigl was stunning in scarlet Escada

Style-wise, the story of Oscar night was definitely the color red. No less than six attendees stood out in various shades of rouge to match the carpet.

I loved the drama of Heidi Klum's red dress by John Galliano. You can even enter to win it here. Interestingly, she paired her dress with pink accessories.

Anne Hathaway was draped in deep red Marchesa with rosettes...gorgeous.

Miley Cyrus chose a red Valentino gown that fit her beautifully.

Dame Helen Mirren dazzled in a merlot-colored Georges Chakra gown. I could have done without the Swarovski crystal sleeves, but they are a unique and age-appropriate touch.

The fabulous Ruby Dee also wore a red gown in a classic silouhette: belted with a matching jacket.

Strapless gowns in richly-colored hues were also very popular last night...

Amy Adams kept it simple and elegant in forest green Proenza Schouler.

Jessica Alba glowed in a plum-colored feathery Marchesa confection.

Jennifer Garner gets high marks for her black strapless Oscar de la Renta gown with a dramatic fishtail. Great hair.

Penelope Cruz wore a navy blue organza dress by Karl Lagerfeld for Chanel Haute Couture that was embroidered with feathers...pure glamour.

I'm a big fan of Kristen Chenoweth's sheer strapless Armani Prive gown with rivers of ruching.

Hilary Swank wore a black one-shouldered Versace dress. Just okay for me.

There were some light-colored gowns that graced the carpet as well...

Jennifer Hudson looked lovely in white with diamond details...and even had her back out! Brave girl.

Best Actress winner Marian Cotillard looked amazingly zexy in a white mermaid-esque Jean Paul Gaultier gown with fishscale details.

Cameron Diaz origami inspired Dior gown was a knock out but that light pink color screams 2005. She also looked a tad disheveled on the red carpet (her hair and her dress could both use an iron) but she pulled it together for the telecast.

Keri Russell's Nina Ricci dress bored me to tears. But I did like her necklace.

It seems everyone is finally over all the sequin, glitz and glitter that has abounded since last year. Only Renee Zellweger showed up a super sparkly number that now looks kind of outdated.

And finally...

Cate Blanchett chose a Dries van Notes halter gown in royal purple. Love the color but I'm not fond of the embellishments at the neck and hem.

A bare-faced Tilda Swinton won the award for Best Supporting Actress but lost a sleeve somewhere along the way.
