Guest Blogger Du Jour: FashionsFlyest from FavoredFashionFix

Hi my lil cream-filled crumb buns! Elle here! And I have once again been blessed with a fabulous guest blogger post by my one and only cutie patootie, FashionsFlyest of FavoredFashionFix.blogspot.com! Be absolutely sure to check him out. Now, darling FF, what say you about the trends for Fall 2008?

Ladies, think VOLUME when shopping for the 80's/90's inspired looks this fall. Look for pieces that will flow, but be sure if you have a flowing top to keep the pant/skirt fitted and vice versa. You don't want to look like your smothered in fabric and gasping for air.

Going goth is a look most think they can't pull off unless it's Halloween. Well I have news...yes you can! But you have to be smart and think realistically. What looks good on a runway may not translate well for real life. So instead of going head-to-toe in black leather and biker jackets, pick key pieces and elements like a pair of patent black leggings or an oversized coat with black nail polish and a dark lip shade. Remember don't over think it, just have fun and play with your look.

This is a look I love to see on a confident woman (hint hint, this is coming from a man). As we move into fall be on the lookout for vests, blazers, neck ties/ascots/scarfs and a classic trouser. You can never go wrong with these pieces; they are timeless and will never go out of style. With that being said, splurge a little and buy quality key items that you will get lots of use out of.

This season lace is no longer for grandma, it has been on countless runways in dresses, shirts, shoes and even jewelry. Don't be afraid to play with a neutral-colored lace, it adds an touch of elegance and class to any outfit. Not to mention it's chic and fashion forward. Again don't over think it...HAVE FUN!
