Topshop is here!

Topshop New York opened today (yayness!) and I am just as excited now as I was back when it was first reported that the it-Brit chain was opening its American flagship at Broadway and Broome. Launching just in time for some serious Spring shopping, there are a ton of great events and perks planned for the week. And you don't even have to be in NYC to take part! If you shop online between now and April 9th, you'll receive free shipping on all orders.

So, you may as well seize the opportunity to invest in a fabulous piece from the Kate Moss S/S '09 collection for Topshop. Pretty sweet.

First Look: H&M Spring 2009 Lookbook

Spring has officially arrived, so it's only right that we preview H&M's Spring Lookbook! Volume, layers and movement are the key terms to remember when it comes to this collection. Super sophisticated but young and fun at the same time, it appears that your local H&M will be stocked with billowy pieces in a range of pastels, cocoon jackets in light-colored taupes and edgy items in black. Methinks these looks should come with a wind-machine for maximum impact.

The New Spring Classics

afdad
Now that Spring is upon us, there are certain key items that can be considered the new classics. Invest in them now and reap the benefits all season long. No need to purchase one of each of course, adding one or two of the highlighted pieces to your wardrobe can perk up your entire outlook. For instance, one vampy pair of oversized shades can make you feel like a million bucks!
asdfasd

The freshest silhouette is a tailored trouser with an uber-wide leg. These pants can be paired with a serious blouse, a casual tank, or a cropped jacket.

Patrizia Pepe Silk Owl Print Halter $747.62

Ankle-length doesn't have to be demure. A maxi dress in an easy breezy fabric is the essence of boho chic.

Short sleeved Denim Bomber $54.18

The short-sleeve jacket is sophisticated but with a super spunky edge. Pair this structured top with a flouncy bottom.

Silk Ruffle Blouse $75.85

A ruffled blouse is about as fabulously feminine as you can get. Ecru silk looks tailored but relaxed.

Oversized Fold Over Clutch $32.51

Nothing says Joan Clayton from "Girlfriends" like an eye-catching oversized clutch. Use it for evening to effortlessly tote all of your essentials.

Carvela Strap Patent T-Bar Platform Sandal $162.53

Neutral platforms will work with a myriad of looks, and a dynamic gladiator design will take a blah outfit to blazing.

A bunch of bold bangles will brighten up your tanned skin during the spring/summer months.

Scarf Print Dress $75.85

A printed dress in a fun geometric pattern will make you look magically modern with a delicate flair.

La Lopez Ushers in Spring Fashion

I love her. And I like this cover so much better than that other one that's floating around. You know, the one where she's a gorgeous shade of pumpkin. But the cover above is beautiful! Check out the article that accompanies these pics here.

Style Me: Simone

Confidence is the most important part of personal style. It's the ability to belt a burlap sack and work it like you're on a catwalk in Milan. Remember people, sell it like the rent is due! Work your individual look fearlessly: head up, shoulders back.
dfasdfa
But Elle, you ask, how do I tap into such supreme style confidence? No matter the label, the trend or the markdown, only buy pieces that flatter your specific shape. Pay great attention to fit, my loves. This is the key to feeling fabulous, every day, any outfit.

In today's Style Me, Simone wants to update her boho chic, very feminine, L.A. eccentric personal style with a few key pieces for Spring. In particular, Simone wants to add pretty but unpretentious tops and multi-functional accessories to her repertoire. Yellow, Spring's hottest hue, is the color focus.

Shall we begin?
