As many of us stiletto-lovers know, walking up and down stairs, running for the subway, gallivanting through the city, cruising stores and boutiques...whew! Well, Camileon Heels to the rescue! Welcome to the innovative world of adjustable height shoes. David Handel started working on the idea in 1989 when he noticed beautifully dressed women walking down 5th Avenue with sneakers on their feet. With Transformers being the toy craze at the time, he figured that "if they could turn robots into high performance vehicles, there must be a way to transform a high heel into a low heeled, comfort version of the very same shoe." Now, almost twenty years later, Camileon Heels, made in Italy from the finest leathers, is the first fully functioning, convertible shoe for women.
